About Creators for Change

YouTube Creators for Change was a global initiative to spotlight inspirational Creators who use YouTube to foster productive conversations around tough issues and make a positive impact on the world.

In partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and social change agency Love Frankie, the Asia Pacific Creators for Change program was launched in in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand, engaging young content creators in amplifying conversations around complex social issues. Lindsey worked with Love Frankie as the project lead for Creators for Change in 2018 and 2019-20.

Services provided

  • Hired and supervised country managers in all of the Creators for Change locations.

  • Led the design and organization of the programme tentpole moments nationally and regionally, including national boot camps inspire content creators to be part of the programme and a regional summit.

  • Led the development of reports and worked closely with the research team to assess impact.

  • Acted as the focal point for UNDP and Google in Asia Pacific for programme updates.

  • Monitored content for quality and adherence with key messages.

  • Developed tools to support the creators in the production of their video content.

  • Hosted the regional events.
