Because I am a Girl is a flagship gender equality campaign from the global charitable organization Plan.

We created a series of modules addressing different global issues through a local and global lens for Plan Canada. We also coached young women through the Because I am a Girl Speakers Bureau to engage their peers in discussions around equality and to advocate for an International Day of the Girl, which became a reality in 2011 with a resolution at the United Nations in New York.
